Ward Christmas Party/Santa

It tis' the season for Christmas party!! The kids were so excited to go and see Santa. This is a picture of the girls while they are up by the stage singing Christmas Carols.

We sat by Jaden and Januari. This is Jon with their boy Axton. He likes Jon! It's cute, at least he gets some boy time!

Linsi and Waylon(Linsi's best friend, she says boyfriend) sitting on Santa's lap. Waylon isn't a fan, Linsi did good, but kept her eyes on Waylon. She just smiled, never said what she wanted, just smiled!

JaKayla was so excited to see Santa this year. She just kept pulling my arm. Every time someone took a step, if we didn't she was pulling and pulling until we did. When we got to Santa, she was shy and didn't let go of my hand. But she gave him a card she made and then said she wants and American Girl Doll.

Addison was excited to see him also. But the closer we got, she would start saying "Santa scary Mom, Santa Scary" If you ask her what she wants, she will say a box of diapers! LOL Jon taught her that! But she didn't say anything to Santa or sit on his lap so we sat by him

Linsi Dancing

Linsi is in Tiny Tots this year. They had a performance at the boys basketball game. She was so excited. She LOVES dance. It is fun to watch her. This is her ready to go to the game.

Addison wanted to get in a costume also. So we put her in one of JaKayla's old ones! She wants to go dance like her big sister!

Linsi did such a good job! She did it all, with a smile on her face! She is getting to big!

Christmas trees

We went Christmas Tree shopping the weekend of Thanksgiving as usual. It was a sunny day, but it was chilly! We went with some good friends of ours, the Sorenson's. We went up Willow Creek.

JaKayla and Linsi in the snow. JaKayla liked the snow and Linsi absolutely hated the snow. She didn't want to walk in it or touch it. Could be that she had a very short nap on the way up. I don't know, but she didn't like it!

We looked around for like an hour. The kids were getting sick of it and luckily Jon found this beautiful tree. It was just perfect, so we cut it down and home it went!

Januari and I tried to entertain the kids while Jon and Jaden continued to look for a tree. Sadly they didn't find one this day and had to come back up! The girls are my three, JaKayla(6), Linsi(3) and Addison(1). Then the two boys are Waylon(3) and Axton(1).

We didn't get a chance to put up the tree and decorate it for a couple days, but when we did, JaKayla wasn't feeling the best. So she sat infront of the TV and watched it/us putting up decorations.

Sorry this picture is side ways, not sure how to change that while it is in here. Anyways, this is the girls ready to decorate the tree. We wanted JaKayla in the picture. If you notice, we chopped her hair off also. I'll get some before and afters up sometime!

Freezing

We decided to go up the mountain to see how much snow there was. We stopped at 6 mile turn off up 12 mile. There was about 8 inches. It was windy and cold! The girls were dressed warm, but not Jon and I. It was ice cold, our hands were freezing!

JaKayla had her hat on clear over her eyes. Had to tip her head clear back to be able to see! It was funny!

Linsi kept her face tucked in her coat the best she could to keep it out of the wind.

Addison put her hand in the snow and got her glove covered and then wanted us to clean it off. She's so cute! Her face is already red and picture was taken after being outside for maybe 5 mins.

The girls wanted to make snow angels. Anything to get wet and cold.

We didn't stay out of the blazer very long. We was to cold. Hurried back to blazer as fast as they can go. So it took a while!

And how could we forget to eat the snow, JaKayla couldn't stop! She had it everywhere! While waiting to get into the blazer, JaKayla and Linsi took the opportunity to eat as much as possible!

Halloween

Carving pumpkins is something that we usually do at Grandma Karen's. But because of the hunts this year, it just didn't happen. So we got out the knives and did it in our kitchen. The girls were so excited and of course Jon was also!

Once Jon cut into the pumpkin and you could really smell it, the girls were so grossed out it was funny! They kept their noses plugged almost the whole time!

On Halloween the girls could not wait to get dressed up. Begged all day! Finally when we got dressed they were out the door! It was cute! Even Addison was excited to go! Linsi was Sleeping Beauty. JaKayla Cinderella and Addison is Snow White.

Trick or Treating at Grandma's. They just wanted to go and go. Just love to see them so excited about things!

Family Pictures

Finally decided to get family pictures done! I just love them. It's hard to decide with ones to choose! These are my 3 top favorites. Now just the choice of picking THE ONE!!!

Linsi just loved every minute of the attention she was getting. She had the most pictures taken, but it doesn't help that she is the most photogenic child around!

This is Linsi's favorite picture because she gets to be upside down! Just love her sweet, happy personality!

Her is JaKayla! She is growing so fast and getting so big! She is now 6 years old and definitely has the attitude of one!

This is my favorite of JaKayla. She has her smile that I love!! She just lights up when she smiles like this. Oh I just love it!

And of course, sweet little Addison! She didn't know exactually what to think of all this attention and people trying to get her to smile. But we did get some cute ones before she was done!

I'm so blessed, not only to have 3 beautiful girls, but 3 girls who all get along and love each other!

I just love, love, love this picture. It wasn't what I was planning on doing, but it is so stinking cute! My girls ust love their boots.

JaKayla's 6th Birthday

JaKayla celebrated her 6th Birthdy on Thursday with her friends! They did a Halloween themed party. She thought that was the greatest thing. They had a blast. First we played Halloween BINGO, opened presents, had cake & ice cream, then went to the Beck's Pumpkin Patch to pick out a pumpkin.

The kids are, Linsi as Sleeping Beauty, JaKayla as Cinderella, Teagan as a Bee, Aubrey as a witch, Kayden is a motorcycle racer, Jaelie as a Princess, Nash as a Cowboy and Addison as Snow White.

Then Sunday, the 9th, we celebrated with the Family. JaKayla keeps saying, "Mom, when am I going to feel 6, I just still like I'm 5!"

The guests are; Josh, Natalie, McKye, and Mckinsey; Grandma Karen and Grandpa Jeff; Vicki, Miranda, and Rhiley; Mariah, Brian, Jordan, McKenzi, Sheridan, Bryson; Grandma Marilyn; Susan... It was a great time! JaKayla had a fun time and that's what counts!!!

Snow Already!!!

We went for a ride up the mountains this Saturday and found some snow! I knew there was some, but not this much for the 1st of October!!!

The girls wanted to get out and play in the snow, but they got so cold, so fast. Addison loved eating the snow, she kept saying; "More, more please!"

It was so funny, Linsi fell down in the snow and man oh man was that the worst thing in the world. (She just woke up).

Here she is just a bawling, barely even got snow on her!!

Hunting Time

Hunting Season!!!

It is time for the hunts again. Luckily for me, Jon is only doing one hunt and it is only one week long. I can handle that, I think!! We went up to the camp for the weekend since there is no school. It was fun. The first day up there we arrived and Jon went hunting, so the girls and I went for a walk. It is so beautiful up there. The leaves are turning!

The girls saw this log and wanted to get on, so it is a great time to take pictures!! They are some silly girls!

Addison was having fun picking the leaves off of the trees. She just never stops going, always busy, busy!!!!

Saturday, some of the cousins are at camp to play with and the girls loved having someone to play with. They are playing horse shoes and they pegs are like, maybe 20 ft away. But it made it easier for the kids, so it worked! This is Mike, Jack, Sam and Kami with my three girls.

As you can tell by looking at this pictures, it was rainy and cold, but fun!

Linsi was so funny, she would throw the horse shoe and then look in her binoculars and try to shoot her gun at the same time. She thought it sounded like a fabulous idea!

JaKayla has a harder time up the mountains. She isn't a fan of being in the mountains because she sometimes has to wear oxygen and she HATES it! And that is no joke. We have to beg her to wear it and then it's just fine. She just hates the idea of it mostly. It's a work in progress, sometimes I wonder if it is even worth it. But she just gets better and better every time!

After a while, we got sick of being out in the cold and rain so we came inside, luckily I was prepared enough for the bad weather, although it wasn't suppose to rain until Sunday! Oh well, we made the best of it. Especially since we left TV and movies at home. Addison had her cup!! And she loved it, she is a challenge to keep busy! But did really well.

JaKayla and Linsi coloring after we did Halloween BINGO. They just had paper and drew pictures and I had to guess what they were drawing. They actually did a really good job, most of them I could tell what they were! JaKayla thought this was the best thing ever!

Linsi and her mischievous smile! Her smile gets her away with so much and she knows it!

We didn't get to see Jon very much, he was either hunting or cutting wood. Hard at work. He is so good to us and I am so glad to have him! We enjoy the time up the mountains. It just takes us away from all the busy and just get to be together and be creative!

Zoo Trip

We decided to take the kids to the zoo last weekend. The girls had a really good time. Their most favorite thing was the carousal. They just wanted to keep riding it and riding it. They also liked the train too. We looked at all the animals. Addison kept telling the giraffe to "come here giraffe, come here" It was super cute!

Zip line

For the 1st time we did a Guy McArthur Family Reunion. So that is just my immediate family. It was the first weekend in September. We went up to my mom and dad's property on Monroe Mtn. It was a 4 day weekend, but we only went the one day because JaKayla has to be on oxygen at that high of elevation. And she is just starting to feel more comfortable with the idea, but it was still a fight so we just did it one day instead of 4. My brother Shannon brought up his zip line and the kids we going on it. I never thought in a million years that JaKayla would do it, but she just kept begging to go so I took her up and she was scared. She went and went and went. Just kept asking to go! I was so proud of her!

This is Jon going, he couldn't miss out on the fun! I also went, but didn't get picture. There was no way Linsi was doing it. She just played with her cousins. And Addison was with Grandpa or swinging!!

It was a good reunion and I am so glad that we have started the tradition, only bad part is... I'm in charge next year!!

Well we had JaKayla's checkup this last month and all is well. The Dr is really pleased with her heart. Everything looked really good!!! Yay!! So glad. We decided that since we made the trip up north we would get some fun use out of it. We went to The Living Planet Aquarium. The girls just loved seeing the fish, especially Nemo!! They loved the Penguins, but wouldn't even come close to the sharks or the sting rays that you can touch. They are scared!! They're just funny.

Ok so it's been a long, long, looonnnnggg time since I posted anything. So I am going to start with JaKayla's birthday & try to do it at least every couple of weeks!!

Her Birthday was October 6th & this was the 1st year that JaKayla was able to have a friend party! She was sooo excited! It was fun but crazy!!! She is now 5! Growing up faster than I am or want to that is!! Then right after her friend party was her family one. Lets just say that we were all partied out by the end of that day!!! But her excitement made it worth it!

Here are most of the friends that came. Hailee Bardsley, Dalaynie Edwards, Brinley Hansen, Abbie and Sheree Grindstaff, Bryson Sorensen, Coy Carter, Chaz Butcher, Kaylob Olsen, (not pictured Kayden Olsen, Keaton Childs, JaKayla, and Linsi)I think that is all of them!JaKayla blowing out her candles. The cake I had made for her is horrible! I really messed up so she got to blow out candles on her cupcakes!JaKayla opening presents! Look at her excitement in her face!! To cute! Can you believe it, Linsi is 2 yrs old. Man does it go by fast!!! She had a great Birthday and was just sooo excited for everyone to come over!! And when it came to blowing out her cake, it took her a lot of tries but she finally got it!!!

Ok so it has been a really long time since I have put anything on here, so I decided I better get into gear. We had Addison on January 13th at 4:40 pm. She weighted 7 lbs and 1 oz, 21 inches long. She is so much fun and JaKayla and Linsi just love her!!! Almost to much, they just want to help and they think that she is their doll to play with!!! It is soooo busy with three kids, but I really wouldn't change it for the world!!! I just love them so much!! Here are some pictures

Linsi's Hair Cut

So I finally decided it's about time that Linsi had her 1st hair cut. Considering she is 20 months old!!!! My little girl just doesn't have hair! And her dad wasn't so happy that we did it, but she needed it!! So this is how long her hair was before the cut. We only cut the back off because there just isn't enough to cut front!! This is her getting it styled. And she loves to get her hair done!!! And she didn't even cry when we were cutting it!!!

IT'S A GIRL!!! We just had the ultrasound and we are having our third child and our third daughter!! It will be exciting. Both Jon and JaKayla have had a little bit of a struggle with this but are coming around to the idea. Jon will just have to have a house full of girls, the poor guy!! We love him though!! The baby is health and all looks well so I will take her!!

Cleaning

I was cleaning the front room and JaKayla just loves to vaccuum. So I let her vaccuum the front room and then she asked if she cleaned her bedroom if she could vaccuum it. I was like sure!! Go for it! I would just love that. So she went up stairs to clean her room and I continued to clean downstairs. Then she told me her room was clean, so I took the vaccuum up stairs. And when I came around the conner to her room, I could see some of her room and I was impressed that she actually did as well as she had. And of course she was just beaming from ear to ear!!!

I was telling her what a good job she had done and then I went into her room and say her bed!! That is where all of her toys, books, etc. was at. I couldn't help but to laugh. She thought that she had done such an amazing job!!
And then I went into Linsi's room and JaKayla had put some of her toys on the bean bag in there!! Oh to have the mind of a kid!!

Swimming at Manti Pool

Mariah called and asked if we wanted to go to Manti Pool for a change. And of course we said yes!! The kids had a really good time. It is just right for little ones!!

I bought JaKayla a kite last year and we never used it. So I showed it to her the other day and was excited but we were unable to use it cause it wasn't windy. But it sure has been lately so we took it out to the field across from our house. They both just loved it!! It was fun for about 10 minutes and then JaKayla wanted to put it away so we could go to Grandma's house!! Funny Girls!!

Makin' Linsi's Birthday Cake

We are just making Linsi's Birthday cake and the two of them just love eating it. They have to lick every spot. Linsi would get her spoon and dip it in the cake pan to get more batter. She is just too funny! JaKayla thinks that we should make her a purse cake or something fancy, but we will just have to see how things work out. As of now, it's just going to be a regular one!!!

Spring Time!

It was such a nice day that we took the kids outside to play. We have been all this week because it has been so nice, but today I finally took the camera with me! They just played on the slide and grass for a little bit. Nothing to fancy!

We just took Linsi and JaKayla up north to get their pictures done. Especially since Linsi will be ONE next week!! My, time flies!! I got JaKayla's pictures done too. At first she just wanted Linsi to but then she decided it was ok and actually was sad when we got her down and it was just Linsi left up there getting hers done. Of course! Anyways it was fast cause my girls were tired, but they are super cute!!

Making Cookies

We wanted to make cookies for Valentine's Day, but didn't get it done. So we just made them for ourselves and they were great!! We even got to use our aprons that Santa Claus brought us! JaKayla loves to help cook!

Linsi got to sit back and just eat the dough! A winning situtation for all involved! But first she started to eat the butter container. Anything and everything goes is her mouth!!

JaKayla got a new hat and just loves it!! She wears it almost the whole day. It is huge on her but she doesn't care. She didn't like the tight ones!!I was fixing JaKayla's hair and Linsi was bored so I gave her the water bottle. She thought that it was great. Then JaKayla took over and helped her squirt it! They had a ball with it!

My Family Life

Ok, so I'm just new at this and I am trying to figure it all out so just bare with me. I just wanted to let you know that we are doing great and time is going by so fast. Linsi will be 1 in March and JaKayla is 3. Where has time gone.

At the beginning of January we had to take JaKayla to her cardiologist and everything looks great!!! Yeah, we don't have to go back for a year! I won't know what to do without all the Dr. appointments. She is doing so well though and it is nice to have a break from all the problems. JaKayla is in dance and loves it. She is one of the youngest and definetely the smallest. But she is just to cute. For the dance recital she will be a puppy in 101 Dalmations. It will be so fun and she is super excited.

Linsi is crawling and getting into everything. She just won't stop, totally opposite of her sister. She would really like to walk and takes a few steps on her own. And she just loves to crawl up the stairs, only if she could get the coming down part as well. She has no fear and I hate that. She has 4 teeth and I hope that we don't get more for a while because she has a hard time with it.

On the 26th it will be our 1st anniversary for being sealed in the Temple. I can't believe that it has been a year. We are still doing great with the attendance and hope that we can keep it up.

We both have callings in our ward. I am a Primary teacher. I teach the 6 year olds. They are just fun. And Jon just got called to be the Sec. of the Sunday School. I think that will be a great calling for him. He is also a coach for the church ball team. Although they aren't doing so well, it has been fun for all of us to watch. They are so pretty funny games!!
